PTI-G series products are GIS online monitoring systems applied to the partial discharge of GIS composite electrical equipment and the online monitoring and intelligent diagnosis of SF6 gas temperature, pressure, density and micro water.

Partial discharge inside GIS equipment can excite electromagnetic waves from low frequency to ultra-high frequency. The coaxial structure of GIS equipment itself is a good waveguide structure, and ultra-high frequency electromagnetic waves can effectively propagate with less attenuation. The detection of PD signal by monitoring the UHF signal in the electromagnetic wave emitted by PD can effectively avoid the corona interference in the power system, and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of PD detection.

The UHF signal in GIS radiates outward through the basin insulator at the connection of GIS chamber. The UHF sensor installed on the basin insulator can effectively monitor the partial discharge signal in GIS.

SF6 monitoring mainly monitors the temperature, pressure, density and humidity of each chamber through the SF6 integrated monitoring sensor installed on the air supply port of the GIS gas chamber, which is uploaded to the central processing unit through the 485 bus.

On site monitoring unit:

The data processing unit uses high-performance coaxial cable to connect with ultra-high frequency sensors (including noise sensors). Through filtering, mixing amplification, high-speed sampling, wavelet threshold filtering and other anti-interference technologies, it extracts effective internal local signals, which are uploaded to the central processing unit after algorithm processing.

Central processing unit:

The central processing unit collects the signals of the data processor, builds a fault mode database, uses fingerprint identification and dual neural network engines to diagnose the type of partial discharge fault in GIS and locate the discharge source, and extracts the data of each SF6 integrated detection sensor to comprehensively reflect the operation status of the monitored GIS equipment.
